60 Minutes Interview & Mega Arnold Movie News!

Arnold punched us all I the face today with a blissful blow of movie news and the impact feels oh so good! On Monday, September 24th, we thought we were lucky enough to be treated to the streaming Arnold speech from the Schwarzenegger Institute but the news just kept coming and coming throughout the day. Next we heard Arnold would be on Good Morning America in NY on Monday morning, October 1st. Shortly after we read he’d be on 60 Minutes on Sunday the 29th! Then things got really exciting when we saw the all-new Empire magazine featuring Schwarzenegger on the cover as Sheriff Owens from The Last Stand. Not only does Empire say this is their biggest and best Arnold interview ever, our friend and subscriber Darren tells us that he received his issue two days early in the mail and there are “35+ pages” of photos and the interview with Predator talk, developments with David Ayer’s Breacher/Ten (whichever title they stick with) and an update on T5 (nothing substantial at this time).

Most exciting is Darren telling us about a new Commando 2 film script! Darren writes:

“The Commando stuff is much more interesting. Apparently there's a Commando 2 script, which Steven De Souza wrote with Frank Darabont, which includes a sequence where Matrix hangs off a helicopter while another chopper below attempts to chop his legs off! General Kirby is now rogue and has teamed up with a Panamanian drug lord and Matrix has to infiltrate a hi-tech building with a security system that he himself designed. De Souza believes the sequel may still happen!

There's stuff about The Last Stand and The Tomb and also Ten. Arnold also mentions that he "didn't have time" to play Animal Mother in Full Metal Jacket! There's a brief mention of some scripts currently being looked at, one being Outrider (a western). No plans for another Terminator yet, though. It really is worth a purchase (I think there's an iPad edition out on Thursday too)!"
