Who's Joining Us to the 2013 Arnold Sports Festival?

Celebrating their 25th anniversary, The Arnold Classic returns to Columbus, Ohio! The Festival and the world-renowned Arnold Classic will celebrate its 25th Anniversary when the fitness celebration is held Feb. 28 – March 3.  The Sports Festival attracts 175,000 sports and fitness fans to watch 18,000 athletes compete in more than 45 sports and events, including 12 Olympic events. TheArnoldFans staff will be adding to this total number of attendees by making the trip to Columbus ourselves. All the top stories from the event will be brought to you all first hand.

Schwarzenegger and Jim Lorimer have co-produced the weekend since 1989 when it debuted as just a one-day event. The Arnold Sports Festival has steadily grown over the years to where it is now; a four-day festival that features a variety of ballsy sports. Included are professional and amateur bodybuilding competitions, weightlifting, power lifting and Strongman. In fact, this year we have learned that they will be adding a new series of competitions called the Arnold Scottish Highland Games. These will feature events such as Tossing the Caber and Throwing the Hammer. Scottish Music and Highland Dancing will also be featured. This event will take place on March 3rd and TheArnoldFans will be sure to check these out and bring you some great exclusives.

The EXPO will be in full force again as well showing everyone how to “pump themselves up” and stay healthy. It also features 700 booths of the latest in sports equipment, apparel and a stage that hosts non-stop competitions and entertainment. For you younger Arnold fans there will be non-stop youth activities to take part in. Some of those events include archery, boxing, fencing, gymnastics, judo, running, table tennis, tae kwon do, track & field, weightlifting and wrestling.

The Arnold Sports Festival sounds like it going to be an incredible time for all! We'll soon be telling you about the days of high adventure or meeting you there to sip some mead in celebration. Here are the specifics of the show for those who would like to attend with us:
