On July 30, 1947, this world was given a gift of the most Fantastic person ever-- our hero Arnold Schwarzenegger was born. Today, Arnold turns 66, and even though most people think about retiring by now, that seems like the furthest thing from The Oak's mind, much to his fans' joy! Just look at his plans so far for the next year:
This was one of the best years ever for a Schwarzenegger fan to attend comic con. There was a fan-screening of a new Arnold film, a booth with Arnold-related promo items, a Conan poster by Mondo and several new Terminator and Predator exclusive toys. But my favorite of all of these booths throughout the entire Comic Con showroom was the PREDATOR Blu-ray 3D booth experience!
At Comic Con I met with Fredrik Malmberg, President & Chief Executive Officer of Paradox Entertainment Inc. As many of you barbarians know, Paradox is the property holders of CONAN so they not only know what's best in life, they know exactly what's going on with Arnold's The Legend of Conan!

The Austrian Oak has settled his mighty fists on the focus of the environment and his travels have taken him to Montana, going one-on-one with a fiery opponent. Arnold Schwarzenegger will be part of a documentary about how climate change negatively impacts, among many things, the annual season of wild land fires.
During Comic Con's 2013 Zombie Walk, Adrianne Curry (America's Next Top Model) helped TheArnoldFans co-host our 'Maggie' costume contest. The winner was given an 'Escape Plan' prize pack courtesy of Summit and TheArnoldFans. While we kept a sharp lookout on the streets for the best zombie girl to play Schwarzenegger's movie daughter, it turns out that the role might officially be filled! Little Miss Sushine's Abigail Breslin is now in talks to play Maggie!

With our red carpet access to interview Arnold and Stallone at San Diego’s Comic Con fan-screening of Escape Plan, we got a great view of the excited fans who entertained us with their Arnold impersonations and some even dressed up as Schwarzenegger’s characters.
On Wednesday morning, TheArnoldFans will be off to San Diego to attend our 8th consecutive Comic Con and to bring the fans the best possible coverage for everything in the Schwarzenegger universe. Many of you Arnold fans are pumped about our hero hosting a fan-screening of Escape Plan but there's so much more to look forward to at this 4.5 day pop-culture mega event!
Good news; while we earlier reported the sad news that there will not be an Escape Plan panel at this year's San Diego Comic Con, we just learned that Summit Entertainment, Arnold and Sly WILL be promoting the film OFF SITE just a few blocks away!
