Santa Arnold Back at Miracle on 1st Street Toy Drive!

Over the weekend, Arnold, wearing a fantastic American Santa shirt, was back once again! Schwarzenegger (https://www.hola.com/us/tags/arnold-schwarzenegger/) attended the 44th annual "Miracle on 1st Street" Christmas Toy Giveaway held at the Hollenbeck Youth Center in Los Angeles. While I was unable to attend this year as Turboman, as I have done for many years over the last decade, I will be able to return in 2026. But in the absence of Turboman, The day’s events were still full of great faces and humanitarians including  Sugar Ray Leonard, Terminator Dark Fate’s and FUBAR’s Gabriel Luna, Matt Iseman, Santa Clause, pop culture mascots and of course Arnold Schwarzenegger. District Attorney Nathan Hochman and the LA police force were also in attendance. 

Schwarzenegger (https://www.hola.com/us/celebrities/20251209871981/arnold-schwarzenegger-rare-red-carpet-with-sons-patrick-christopher/) has been attending the event for the past three decades as nothing brings him more holiday joy than to give back!

"My three-decade tradition - donating toys and playing Santa at @hollenbeckyouthcenter. The giving feels so much better than the gifts at Christmas (https://www.hola.com/us/tags/christmas/)," he wrote on an Instagram post. 

"This holiday season, you all have a great opportunity to add a little light to someone’s life. Whether it’s donating toys or food or just showing kindness, use your power." 

The Miracle on 1st Street Toy Giveaway is an over three decade tradition that was founded by Daniel L. Hernandez as a means to celebrate Christmas with the kids from the area (that felt Santa was not headed to their house). Initially composed of a few toys, police cars disguised as reindeer and Hollenbeck Staff dressed as elves; the Miracle on 1st Street has grown into one of the largest toy giveaways in the City of Los Angeles. Thanks to the support of thousands of volunteers, police, community, core leadership and sponsors the Miracle is just that-- “a MIRACLE”, especially for the thousands of kids whose only gift comes from this giveaway.
